Kihkih tak sangka mama baca my previous post dengan begitu pantas. She was that worried when I mentioned about how hard the exam was, thus trying to reach me by making eight phone calls but all left unanswered. You know why, later that day after I've finished my OSCE I went to sleep like a baby hippo. I had a very long hours of sleep, a very quality one, that no other sounds could possibly awaken me.

Oh well, lucky when I woke up on the next few hours, mum's still online. So that's when we talked for awhile, I've made things clear about the exam, and she told me about their chinese new year's holiday in Penang, about my cousin's new steward boyfriend LOLOL, so gossiping! About my upcoming trip to Spain blah blah blah.

And of course! I got to talk to this little monster,

Look at ze face, SO ANNOYINGGGGGGG. Feels like pinching that penyek nose right now yarghhh.

So Saufi had his upper incisor teeth extracted not so long ago, and now he started to look like an old man (old man = few teeth). You should see his face while he gave me that wide smile. Kah kah. Too bad tak sempat screen capture. No teeth but still very talkative, very loud. Even very bossy, ordering me so many times to buy some toys for him. "Buy me a helicopter control!" Haih this kid ah..

This little conversation I had with them has made my day. All my worries gone. At least for now.

WEEEHOOO. Countdown to 5 days.

Done with the final semester exam. Sure it ease my nervous and stress a little but thinking of the upcoming consequences? That freaks me out. Will the marks I've gained be enough to put my name in the next semester? Will it, or will not?

Post exam depression has killed my good mood to go travel. I can't go enjoying the break whilst worrying if I pass the exam or not. I have wronged myself. I didn't perform well. I should be punished instead of rewarding myself on a winter trip! *head-desk*

I pray to Allah *sobbing* may He grant me the very best outcome. Amiin Ya Rabbal Alamin.

Winter Complain

Mansoura is getting colder. 14 degree Celsius is overreaching my threshold level to cold tolerance. Even when I stay inside the room with the socks, bulky sweater and lihaf on, my teeth's still chattering.

Due to the cold climate, I have encountered few episodes of sleep deprivation. I've been forced to wake up in the middle of the night these past several days because the cold condition has brought some pain to the chest and my lower limbs. But I believe the ache was nothing more than just a physiological response to cold weather. Nothing to be worried about.

But what have become my problems are that,

I can't concentrate on my study whilst shivering at the same time. I'm seriously not a multi tasking person -__-" I find that my studying rate has become slower in proportion to the decreasing temperature.

2. I can't stop to think of what to eat on every other hour because YES COLD WEATHER STIMULATE THE FEEDING CENTER.

3. I can't stand the cold water every time I go to the loo to take a shower and wuduk. Tak faham why the water heater is so stubborn selalu tak nak keluar air panas jeghdkfnfcjkg@#$%

Okay I have no apparent points of telling you this. But I hope that winter has reached up to it's peak. I can't bear another drop of degree celcius to the current temperature. I caaaan't.

To Mama!

Today is mom's birthday. Well I almost forgot to keep track on that. It's been some time since the last I had a proper chat/video call with her. She's that busy, I sleep early. No perfect time to have a conversation. Sad isn't it. But we still keep on emailing each other. And up till now, she never fail to make me cry every time I read hers :')

I love it when she keeps on reminding me to study and to recite quran as often as I can. It is just so her that no other people would ask me to do so, really. And she's the type of mother who's constantly nagging her daughters to wear proper attire, but yaaaah I obviously fail to do that.

There's one time mom mentioned to me that she's getting old and she gets tired easily. I broke down in tears. The saying that goes 'Love your parents, we are so busy growing up, we are often forget that they are also growing old' came rushing to my head. It's just so saddddd. I don't want my mom to grow any older. I wish I could freeze the time :'(

But mama don't you worry because you have me to look after you :)

Happy birthday. I love you I miss you. (I know you read my blog!). Haha.

Last PBL for This Semester

Orang kata tak elok belajar waktu senja. So this might be a good excuse to stop looking at the book and kill time with the blog instead.

I've been meaning to write about this the second I had finished my last PBL, but you know I love to procrastinate. I keep on postponing everything I'm about to do, to study to wash my baju to clean up the room and to blog, of course. I am even lazier than Garfield if you could imagine.

So prior to the last day of pbl, I've decided on making an apple pie for my group's makan-makan. Tahu, tinggi kan cita cita. I love doing complicated things yeay *sarcasm*. And because I already told Fatin and Sibah, my group mates, about the plan kah kah, so I must get it done. Like, Dalila can you really make those?

Oh well, the result as you can see is not that stunning. I know the pastry looks flaky ain't it. Maybe sebab tak reti ayak tepung or ayak guna penapis teh? KAH KAH. Maybe sebab dalam resepi dah cakap pakai gula icing tapi sendiri buat conclusion course sugar kalau blend will turn into an icing sugar? I just can't help.

Anyhow, people do eat it. They didn't complaint, so I assumed that it was okay.

In the middle of makan makan, there's another 3 to 4 groups came to join. They brought their foods and forced us to finish it up haha. It was meriah like that. I stuffed myself with nasi lemak ayam berempah, roti canai kuah kari, cheese cake, pizza, puding roti, kek batik, pengat pisang wah *belly rub*. Not to mention nasi daging house mate dah tapaukan :')

Okay no more classes. Time to gear up for the final.

Kissing My Past Good Bye

This is going to be the last post of the year of 2011. Of the past these 11 months, I think I've gone through the life pretty well. Pretty well doesn't mean great, doesn't mean less than good either. More like a so-so. What do you mean by the so so?

Oh well, banyaknya benda kalau nak cerita apa yang ada dalam wishlist 2011 tidak tercapai dan tidak mungkin tercapai *nada orang pessimist*

Literally the idea of creating the list of wish is a total crap because, I am malay, and malays are that forgetful. Awal awal tahun kemain laei senaraikan seratus azam tahun baru. Hemph masuk bulan dua dah buat perangai tak nak masuk kelas, aku la teww. Kantoi azam nak dapat mumtaz. Eeee malunyeww cita cita tak sejajar dengan usaha. Heww. Okay sila carry azam ni ke tahun depan please.

Point is, it's not the year that matters. In any year, if we look forward to fulfill the dreams, then we will get it. Get it get it? So takyah nak omputih sangat ada dream list and all. Just work on the things you want. Wohhh apetewww, nasihat? Well this is note to self, I sedaq siri.

This Round Sucks

Oh dear I don't know what has gotten into myself lately. I purposely skipped classes because I think hematology round sucks. Because the doctors always came 45 minutes late, always, and sometimes they don't even appear at all. Secondly, I'm so not in the mood to climb up to 5th floor just to find out that the doctor is absent again. Pfft. Okay that still shouldn't be the reasons why must I skip the class? What a bad attitude there you young lady.

Can you do me a favour? Just don't be like me. Please love hematology or
any -logy suffix course/subjects you have to learn. Duh.

Homemade Bobcorn

Wish to make your own popcorn instead of buying a pack which turn out to have just a countable corn-that-popped but with numerous corn-which-refused-to-pop?

Don't let your money go in vain, let's do this simple task..

What you need is corn seed of course!

If you have no idea of how does the corn seed looks like -__-

Panaskan 1 sudu butter together with 5 sudu minyak masak dalam periuk.
Bila butter cair, masukkan corn seed. Make sure corn seed same level dengan butter and oil tadi. Ok now tutup periuk.
Just a few second after that, you'll hear cause-baby-you're-a-fiiirework sound. Just tak ada Katy Perry jeww.
And tadaaa!
But this is just a plain one, kalau rasa suka nak makan terus boleh je *sarcasm*

For caramel:

Heat one tablespoon of butter but this time no oil is required.
Add 5 tablespoon of sugar into it.
Stir until colour turns brown and slightly sticky.
Now it's done. Stir to coat with the popcorn yeay!

Lay back and enjoy your home made popcorn while watching Crazy Stupid Love. Nice.

Gigi Besi Keperluan atau Kemahuan?

I don't say that my teeth are all crooked and ugly. Neither it's pretty. But it do have some bad structures and arrangement like protruded upper arch and few overlapped teeth in the lower jaw. Still, I never really care about wearing braces because they are damn expensive and I don't like of how dorky it looks :B Mengada, cakap je tak mampu.

But now you can say I'm considering to get those besi on. Sebab when you compare the cost of wearing one in Malaysia with one in Mansoura, here it's like you go shopping on a black friday.

So when I was accompanying Farah for her routine dental check up, to change the ligating band on her braces yesterday, I took the chance consulting with Dr. Hafez on this matter.

Doctor's advice: If I want to wear braces, my two lower and two upper teeth - making a total of 4 teeth need to be extracted! Oh my gah. Only by doing so, teeth can be retracted backward in a graceful manner. Maksudnya gigi tak akan overlap each other sebab susunan padat. Pain is beauty, beauty is pain :(

In the end, doctor asked "So do you wish to start wearing it now?" Oh apakah baru seminit dua consult dah tanya nak mulakan sekarang!? I was like..."No no no, not yet, I need some time to think" Heh.

Just wondering how dorky am gonna look with the braces on. Hi my name is Betty.

There ya go, I said to Dr. Hafez that I will consider the matter thoroughly. If it's not this year, then it should be next year I hope. If bukan next year jugak taktau nak kata apa kbye.

Anyways, I'd like to share the experience Farah and I had in making a Blueberry Cheese Cake with few photos. We looooove cheese cake, and been craving for it all this while. So we decided to bake one sebab rasa pricey selama ini membeli sepotong cheese cake yang berharga 15 Junaiyyyh. Rupanya kos membuat lebih pricey daripada membeli yang sepotong tadi. K lepas ni guna cheese Labanita jeww (-__-")

I think that this is one of a cliche recipe to share so I don't find the need of re-writing other's recipe in this blog am I right? Every one knows the function of Google. So go for it you can do it hwaiting.

Lovey Wowie Thang

Just a non fictitious tale for us to ponder;

Recently a friend of mine has been sharing her heart breaking moment she had with her boyfriend. She's been telling how the boyfriend was being nice all this time. He showered her with love, bring her to lovely places to dine, gave her the best birthday present ever. Just like all the good boyfriends do.

But a really good boyfriend offers more than that eh - honesty. Once you're being dishonest to your partner, no matter how expensive you birthday gift to her was, it'll be meaningless. And in this case, it happened more than just once. You don't say that she didn't give him a chance to repent and fix things he'd ruined, because she did. And what she gained? The same repeated mistakes happened over and over again. 4 years full of wasted energy and drained emotions. She now chooses to move on.

Sad :( I know the hard feelings she’s going through, hope she's coping well.

I just want to relate the story to every one of us that, in any kind of a serious relationship, there's no promise that it's going to be last forever, or enter the state of marriage. Even 4 or 10 years of sharing love with each other, if it’s not your jodoh, it stays not. You knew that, we all knew.

Therefore later in life, if such things that ever happened to my friend occurring to me or even you, anggap saja lah jodoh tak ada. Mungkin Allah nak reward kita with someone better in the end of the day. As the saying goes, there will always be a rainbow after the rain.

Sorry to burden you with the serious talking, this is what early-20s-women do. Pity.

Don't Give a Fvck If It's Carbs That I'm Eating.

Farah and I have been attending to gym since like a month ago, up till now. We first enrolled on June this year for a month of period and then we went back for summer holiday which caused us to take a hiatus. Just after we got back here, we decided to give ourselves another go.

We put so much hope that this "investment" would bring us the outcome we want - super voluptuous figure by this upcoming winterbreak KAH KAH.

But no matter how much we run on the treadmill, how many aerobic sessions we had, despite all of it...

(Because everyday is our cheat day, except for ONE day.)

Seeing at how we eat all this while.....Stop dreaming bout having Miranda Kerr's super hot bod.

Tomorrow's going to be the first election day in Egypt. But it isn't yet in Mansoura, only in Cairo and few areas I don't remember. Am hoping that there'll be no massive riot like what had happened back in January this year. Or else semua kena balik naik Charlie lagi? Hihi.

Long before I knew anything about Arabic songs I have this mind set that their songs probably gonna revolve around ketuhanan that is nasyid or maybe berzanji ke hapa. But then I started to listen & watch vc of few songs by Amr Diab, Pascal Mashaalani and Nancy Ajram I was like, okay these people aren't as pious as I imagine! But still, the songs are quite okay and listenable.

And then I came to Egypt I was introduced to the-most-annoying-songs-on-earth, that is Egyptian songs. Believe me you don't wanna hear it again the seconds you've listened to it. Just imagine all those instruments in one song, the trumpet, the flute, chime and even whistle! Myyyy God so irritating.

But one thing we have to bear with, because almost all Egyptian think that their songs sound better than any other songs despite of how ridiculous it sounds, that they sort of having this urge to bukak lagu memekak macam nak gila dalam taxi and during wedding reception. So you can say that we're immune to this kind of sounds pollution after all these years. We just have to. Read my lips, HAVE TO.

Anyways I just want to share this song I heard from an Egyptian wedding reception not so long ago, which sounds really nice and way out of the typical annoying one. Of course sebab penyanyi Lebanese yaww.

Few minutes prior to the lecture this morning, some of the friends brought up this funny story that has become one of the headlines in the Kosmo! newspaper yesterday. It was posted earlier by Akram in the Facebook, but I've read it just now ahah, it is indeed hilarious.

Anaknya, Aini Sakinah Noor Azman, 22, melalui panggilan telefon kelmarin memberitahu dia sering melihat kereta kebal berkeliaran di merata tempat di Mansoura dan situasi itu turut berlaku di Kaherah.

Aina's name was misspelled as Aini but I don't know if they did it on purpose as in case of bukan-nama-sebenar? But clearly it was not.

Kereta kebal berkeliaran is absolutely untrue. We're doing just fine here, there's no such thing and if it does, that kereta kebal won't even bother to lenyek us all, it's never were in the list of their duties, no they won't cause any harm to us. Why would they?

I'm not indirectly saying that Aina has given a wrong information but it is THEM, the press who's exaggerating and trying to spice up the story a bit, a bit? Haha, the way that they're adding some spice to it sounds funny tho. I personally don't think that Aina in the first place would be telling her mother so, since she lived here, I lived here! We know what happens exactly :D

Moral of the story, read other newspapers. This trifling piece of material isn't worth to be read.

Always a Bad Luck

I enjoy the time of being away from home, of where I got to do some shopping (window, not-so-window) and eat nice foods. But things just happened oppositely yesterday *ruined disk sound*. I didn't know that yesterday wasn't really a good time for us to go to City Center, Cairo.

No sale no anything. All winter coats we're looking at are ridiculously pricey! Tell me how these Cairo's people lived their lives that they can afford a 800 pound of coat? THAT'S ABSURD. So I end up buying none of those outer garment for myself. How frustrating.

But what could be more frustrating for myself than accidentally left this cute Pull & Bear tshirt at some place I just can't remember?! Arghhhhhh.

Travelling Egypt-Malaysia-Egypt every year is extremely tiresome, can't wait to go back for good. Three months of summer holiday ain't enough, I'm gasping for more.

I don't know what other overseas' student would feel about their study place or is it just me who didn't enjoy it at all? It feels so damn hard to fit in, even after 3 years of struggling.

Because I usually don't have time to go out and do shopping, I always end up browsing and buying stuff from the internet.

And recently I bought a Longchamp Le Pliage, a famous French line of women's handbag from a local blogshop which claimed to sell only authentic products, at extremely low price. True, it's cheap, I got mine for half of its retail price. But since it's pretty low in price, I started to think, could it be that my bag is counterfeit?

So I did some research on how to spot a fake Longchamp.

Leather Flap

Original Le Pliage should have a jockey logo embossed on it. The mark of the embossed logo can be seen at the back of the flap too. If there's no logo? Go figure. Also, the real leather texture is very soft and clean.

Snap

Also presented with the logo. (Refer previous pic)

Zipper Pull

Authentic bag uses only YKK zipper and the logo can be clearly seen, very detailed and not blend together as the fake one does.

Plastic Disc

Reinforced with the snap. An easy way to detect the counterfeit Le Pliage because they don't have it. They just don't, hihi. What's my score now?

There's a French words written, 'Le Pliage Shopping - Modele Depose' which can be directly translated as 'The Folding Shopping - Registered Design'

First Time Bikin Brownies

I'm not a sweet tooth person. But, my surrounding friends are, and they really cherish dessert and sugary confection like cupcakes, trifle, tiramisu, brownies, macarons, bread butter pudding; to name some of it. All of these scrumptious sweet savory dessert memang sedap, sedap bak namanya lah. Automatik bila berkawan dengan rakan rakan bergigi manis memang akan cuba segala benda benda manis di atas bersama.

So recently, I have give myself a try on making brownies and believe me, it's as easy as pie. Aha but no I haven't try out on pies yet.

Alright, lemme share this tryout with you guys!

First, what we need;

90 gram/ 6 tablespoon of unsalted butter
170gram of semisweet chocolate, but if you're using cooking chocolate, cut out on sugar a little bit
1/4 cup of cocoa powder
3/4 cup of all-purpose or wheat flour
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1/4 teaspoon of baking powder
1 cup of sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Some chocolate chip and chopped almond if you like.

Okay, here are the steps:

1. Preheat oven; more or less 180C.

2. Sapu butter on a baking pan/loyang, line it with a paper (biar sikit terkeluar on the sides). Sapu butter lagi on top of the paper. Put aside.

3. Using double boil technique, put the butter, cocoa powder, and semisweet chocolate into a heatproof bowl and stirrrrr sampai cair.

4. Dalam bekas lain, ayak tepung, baking powder dan garam. Put aside.

5. Beat eggs, sugar and vanilla in another bowl. It can be much easier using the mixer.

Beat until the colour is whitish. And then, put the chocolate mixture, kacau lagi. Next, add the flour mixture and beat until combined.

6. Tuang atas baking pan. Ratakan dengan spatula. Spread kan chocolate chip dengan almond.

7. Now! Bake for 40 minutes.

8. Tadaaa! lift out the brownies and let it cool completely on a wire rack before slicing it into squares. Jangan gelojoh nanti hasil tak cantik.

Just finish up my 3rd year final examination and pew pew ptui, it was really tough mannn. Pernah pulak exam tak tough?

Because it's the first time for me to be tested practically, just imagine how irritable I yam before and during my OSCE. Damn, paling annoying bila lagi sejam dua nak dekat tunggu turn, all the IBS symptoms started to appear. Lepastu sakit perut sambil examine patient, memang lomah ini rasa macam nak ambik test JPJ pun ada.

OSCE or Objective Structured Clinical Examination is the exam where it is carried out to evaluate the students upon their clinical skills, alah in a simple word it is an oral exam. So in my case how it is being held?

Harini tiba tiba generous nak cerita.

Macam ni, dalam satu wad, every 10 students will be placed at every 10 stations (katil patient). Each stations have different questions, maka tak ada maknanya nak tiru antara sepuluh sepuluh orang ni tadi. So when the time starts, students in 8 minutes given time, must answer all the sub questions at the station they were put at. After the time is up, there'll be this young lady shouting "change!". Out of 10 stations, 2 stations akan ada soalan x-ray. We must tell the doctor what type of x ray, the site, patient's position; it is erect/supine? What are the findings; radio opaque shadow on the left renal. Contoh.

Another 3 stations tested on skills of history taking. Situation ni macam bila kita pergi klinik kerajaan/swasta. Doctor greet patient and ask questions regarding his condition sampai reach to the provisional diagnosis. It's amazing by just taking the history; asking patient's age, residence, special habit, family history and medical history kita boleh rule out the problems.

The rest of the stations we have questions on general examination of patient with chronic renal failure, local examination on thyroid and splenomegaly. Station station ni adalah paling tak best dalam sejarah OSCE sebab tak yakin dengan inspection, palpation, percussion dan auscultation diri sendiri yang entah apa apa tsk tsk.

One station asks about interpretation of data to reach to the final diagnosis and one last station asks on the skills of delivering bad news like, how would you tell your patient that he has a liver cancer? How would you encourage him to stick to the treatment and such.

So lebih kurang macam tulah. Sifat I sejak azali memang suka gugup tak tentu hala, jadi soalan yang tak susah mana pun, bila nervous apaaa pun tak jadi. Padahal dari awal dah buat mnemonic dah susun soalan nak tanya patient begitu tersusun dan ikut sequence, tapi bila jawab depan doctor hmm. Hampa.

This is gonna sound so-last-year to you since I've finished the surgery round together with the round-exams more than a week ago. But anyhow am just gonna continue to write bout it because it's been awhile since the last time I post anything.

Out of the three rounds (padahal baru habis satu round) I think I'd love surgery the most-estttt (tengok punya betapa suka).

Walaupun round surgery paling kena berada dekat hospital selekeh dibandingkan dengan 2 round lain dan baunya incredible! Incredible not in a good way I mean. Tapi nasib bau tu masa awal datang je macam euwwwh, tapi dah 4 minggu, sebati siot *facepalm*

Looking Forward to the Weekend

Friday dah eh? Oh believe me I'm always desperate for the weekend to come. It's Friday Friday gotta get down on Friday. Everybody's looking forward to the weekend weekend. Suka eh perdajal Rebecca Black kih kih.

Okaay ceritanya begini, semenjak melangkah ke semester 6, semester crucial sebab dah masuk practical kan, fuh jadual kite taknak yang habis sebelum pukul 4 petang je. Busy weh nak gosok gigi sebelum tidur pun pikir 7 kali, tak sempat (overrr) rasa macam menghargai sangat setiap detik. Penat gila sebab tu balik kelas je bernafsu dengan katil. Nak jenguk blog jangan cakap ah memang tuan dia abandon habis habisan. Ciannn.

Pastu bila weekend nak la melagha juga dengan blog, itu pun sayang sangat sebab 2 hari tu kita nak manfaatkan dengan rest cukup cukup sebab nak recharge balik energy yang hilang masa weekdays tuh. Konon bila energy dah recharged akan pulun buat revision tapi heheh mari kita lihat weekend ini bagaimana?

Semester kali ni ada 3 main rounds; Internal Medicine, Surgery dan Nephrourology. Each one akan di rotate supaya kesemua ketiga tiga group dapat merasa yumm. So my first round is Surgery. Second and the third round tak ambik tahu lagi takyah tanya.

Jadi benda yang paling menarik I like about learning in this department is to observe sendiri surgeon buat kerja dalam OT oemjaaay.

Silau betul camera kite sebab lens pecah. boo lagipun 3.2 mp je memang ah boo.

Surgeons are conducting a laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Removal of the gallbladder (pundi hempedu) due to gallstones (batu karang).

Yang perasan surgeon tu tolong ketepi sikit.

So this is how the patient's gallbladder looks like. yummayh.

There was actually 4 separate OT and 4 types of surgery going on at the same time so we were like walking around here and there to observe.

Sebelah petang kita adaaa, Skills Lab. dalam banyak banyak Skills Lab baru satu yang betul betul guna skill sebab hari hari kebiasaan macam lecture je zzz boring rasa nak tidur petang.

Belajar masukkan Foley Catheter dekat male urethra. Tapi sebab semuanya upon a human simulation, jadi taklah malu sangat. Cuba bayangkan kalau buat dekat orang betul amagad :O

Ok ok ok haritu perasan je kan balik dengan kerajaan Kedah. padahal kah kah sebab tak reti menipu bila dekat borang tanya "tajaan?" err ya pantas sekalik menanda jpa (sedarlah diri pinjaman je woi), maka tiadalah rejeki mendapat tiket free itu. tapi alhamdulillah, RM500 tetap masyuuuk.

oleh sebab tula, I terpaksa tunggu JPA untuk offer free ticket. kalau nak tahu kan, JPA memang suka bergurau. bergurau ala ala wakenabeb gitu. sebabnya haritu pagi selasa tengah mamun mamun ami call cakap 'weh dalilaq, flight aku confirm 10hb (khamis). cepat check nama hang'. hah apalagi pun terus lompat dari katil dan buka website. lepastuh dahla tak ada link untuk check nama kan, dia just tulis sesiapa yang mendaftar online blablabla akan menaiki penerbangan bertarikh 9 dan 10hb. I memang dah agak nih 10hb sebab yang 9hb tu budak tajaan sahaja. lepas lepas call JPA je terkejut gila ya amat sebab esok dah kena ada dekat airport serah passport. flight confirm 10hb pagi lah jugak! CUBE CAKAP SEKARANG WAKENABEB TAK!?

boleh kena heart attack tau macam ni. memang tarikh balik tu unexpected sangat sangat. tau tau je harini pagi dah ada dekat Mansurah. dedih gile tau dahla sorang pulak tu. tsk tsk housemates semua balik seminggu lagi.

Egypt is now safe cuma dekat airport panic sikit sebab ramai gila askar askar pegang senapang dekat pintu arrival hall. rasa macam kena raise white flag woh takut mati kena tembak. woosh woosh.

cuaca sini pun pretty much the same. sejuk lagi. boleh kalau tak mandi seminggu macam arab takde hal. cuma bila berbau itu yang ada hal. semua orang tahu arab busuk macam mana kan. jadi jagalah kebersihan ketiak kita bersama.

okaylah. jet lag gila tengok pukul 9 dah mengantuk. I need a rest esok pagi dah mula sekolah.

Lacking of updates till I don't know how to start my post with. semua benda yang I tulis macam I sawrr I sawrr (eyesore) sangat rasa geli kat hujung bulu ketiak pun ada, thats why kadang ada yang kena delete on the spot. if you are quite familiar with my bad writing habits, memang sifat tabi'e setiap post dalam blog ni akan hilang satu persatu sampai nanti tinggal header saja. what an ugly truth.

so yeah petang tadi saya bertiga (beremak dan berbapak) menghadirkan diri ke perjumpaan bersama menteri besaq. ya, perjumpaan tuh memang tempatnya berpusu pusu ya Allah orang yang belajaq kat Mesir macam saya nih datang. memang ramai berduyun duyun lemon sebab semua pun stail usung tok wan tok nek pak long pak ngah apa semua sekali, crowded panas gila. but I know everyone is expecting the same thing tee hee. benda free benda free! *gaya Mr. Krab paling annoying bila jumpa duit syiling*

oh yes you heard that, semua anak anak Kedah bakal merasa tiket penerbangan percuma balik ke Mesir juga yah. plus, they will be given 500RM pocket money as well oemjaaaaay.

that's a good news I know righttt. now mami papi I takyah risau dah sebab selamat duit tabungan mereka fewwwh :')

Dah dua minggu dekat rumah can you believe that. tak believe pun takpa. tapi hish rasa macam baru semalam kan call mama cakap dah sampai KLIA nanti please pick me up dekat Alor Setar Airport. imma sooo excited.

cuti yang tak dirancang went as I expected it to be, sitting in the house, sitting in the house anddd sitting in the house. tapi tak duduk jadi raja sangatlah sebab kena buli sidai baju hari hari.

mami and papi were very busy with the works, while Sabrina is now in form two. Hazim and Farhan are soon sitting for UPSR and SPM respectively. Syazwan has started his first degree course. and Saufi has entered the PRIMARY SCHOOL! yeay to that.

see, things were moving so fast I can't catch up.

padahal baru 3 bulan setengah tak balik muahaha. itu sajalah update saya harini, lame gila. lupa nak cakap apa.

MISI PULANG IN ONE PIECE

The experiences I had might not be as cool as some other students whom I heard encountered a dramatic scene where they’ve been pointed with guns to their heads and such. Mine was pretty okay though.

After the internet is being totally cut off, on 29^th January, all of us happened to receive news just through the phone calls. sms too is being blocked.

And not long after that, we’ve been told to lock ourselves inside the house and if there’s necessity to go out, we should be doing it before and after the curfew hours which start from 4pm to 8am.

Since it’s just me and zanna yang left dekat rumah tu and both sangat penakut, eventual, we didn’t left the house for several days, exact dekat 4 hari jugalah. memang hell boring. no internet, no vacation. it simply the worst holiday ever. lucky that stok makanan semua sempat beli a day before OSCE which was on 26th, semua tinggal omnomnom je.

mom did call me few times a day to make sure if I was doing okay. she didn't know that I had fun watching Running Man game show. had a good laugh instead of crying. adalah menangis sebab takutkan banduan rompak rumah. tapi lepas menangis tengok Running Man balik, terus mengekek lupa apa banduan semua -__-"

1st Feb - managed to get tix to go home on 2nd, at a reasonable price (tix on a few days before were ridiculously high). cubaan untuk mendapatkan tarikh tarikh sebelum juga tak berjaya selain banyak flight delayed delayed at last cancel tak dapat refund. kasihan yang book dengan Egypt Air. bersyukur tak kena macam tu.

so within few hours, we had to pack things up and voom head to cairo airport. minta untuk tag along dengan kawan perempuan lain yang nak ke airport juga, if not, we have to go on our own. I cannot imagine that T__T

tapi pada pagi perjalanan there was a slight change. we both terpaksa menumpang tramco (van) kucai and his family instead of going with another four girls of our friends. perjalanan yang suppose direct ke Cairo Airport terpaksa ke Haiyyu Asyir (di Cairo) terlebih dulu. and since curfew telah dipanjangkan bermula dari 12pm to 8am, berbaki hanya 4 jam adalah mustahil untuk ke 2 tempat (Asyir & airport) dalam jangka masa tersebut. even the driver refuse to drive during curfew hours. jadi pilihan terbaik adalah bermalam di Asyir sebelum bertolak semula ke airport awal pagi keesokan.

alhamdulillah, sampai di airport lain pula ceritanya. but good thing is, tak stranded berhari hari as such. tak masuk paper sebab tak makan sebab memang bawa bekal untuk 3 4 hari. persediaan paling rapi pernah buat seumur hidup :') air pun bergelen gelen kami angkut sebab rumours, eh tak rumours kisah benar ni mineral water dekat airport has cost about 200LE per bottle. insane, I know right.

and that's how it goes. pengalaman pulang tanpa kena tembak atau mengalami post traumatic disorder yang tak seberapa :')

I could not reach you that my internet has totally being cut off. just so you know that I was doing fine until the day I went home which was on the 2nd of February. it was a pleasure to be home, at last.

I wish to do on another post of how I managed to get out of there. so, just wait for that :)

ON A BREAK

Sorry if I sound like I'm exaggerating a bit about the riot thing. we're all doing fine, non of the water canon tear gas and all bother us, thank God.

exams over, that means I'm officially on a winter break wooo! it sounds really really great, except the part that I have nowhere to go this time, sobs. how can I spend 2 weeks lying on the bed just. haha sucks. how about it, how about my exam, is it hard? oh my I couldn't tolerate with that kind of question. ever heard of anyone saying that learning medicine is the easiest, or more less? there you go.

so if things sort of happen according to the last-minute-travelling-plan, I'm sure gonna write about it, here soon :) if not, well then, assume that I'll be gaining another few kilos of weight since staying in the house allow me to eat whatever I want omnomnomnom.

you'll never know what happen in between 2 days gap I had before the OSCE. I finished up watching Secret Garden! myyyyy God. laugh hard please, I deserve that. apa punya gila 2 hari tak belajar tengok drama korea, kan bagus soalan tanya pasal Hyun Bin ka apa T__T

but seriously, I recommend you to watch that. MUST WATCH WEH MUST WATCH. though there's some part tak logik where the main casts konon konon boleh swap bodies macam cerita Freaky Friday, hahah ridiculous but very entertaining. tak macam cerita melayu, dah tak logik, pastu tak reti buat jadi interesting haih nak membebel la ni.

and it's not just the funny part I care to tell about, cerita korea kalau buat orang menangis, menangis yang meleleh air hidung sekali euw euw. true that. sedih gila as if I was putting myself inside the character's shoes hahaha, eh mana boleh gelak. tengah cerita benda sedih pulak (tongue). ok I don't wanna be a spoiler, please tengok sendreyh ok.

(damn, Egypt is going to block everything. no twitter, no facebook and now they'll be cutting of all the internet connection, as well as the mobile service starting this midnight.**not sure for how long. just that, gonna tell you not to miss me ;))

I know I always took sometimes to update. my story is so like lompong lompong pastu tiba tiba dah nak dekat final. sungguh fail kalau jadi penulis skrip.

semester 5 is going to end soon, dan menjadi lumrah selalu bila nak dekat berpisah I started to love the group I yam into :')

for this semester, we've been up to do a project, A POSTER. bila sebut poster, jangan nak bayang poster colour crayon darjah lima darjah enam. tettt salah. ini poster grown up sikit come on. ok why am I teaching you this, I suppose you knew that already.

so kelmarin all the groups have to do a presentation on their posters in front of the doctors, and colleagues plus plus. and my group did a poster on the Effects of the Surveillance vs Non Surveillance for Hepatocellular Carcinoma on Tumor Staging and Treatment Decisions for Egyptian Patients. tak boleh nak lagi panjang. in a nutshell, we're talking about the screening program which does help in early detection of the HCC (hepatocellular carcinoma).

I was so nervous, padahal bukannya semua orang wajib present tapi tak kiralah berdebar juga. sebab this thing usually happens to me. when you're not feeling nervous about something, you akan kena (like apa apa benda yang embarrassing). so semalam paksa nervous juga. and eventually, nothing happens to me muahaha. the theory never lie.

thank God ada group mates yang brilliant. positive about getting full marks. hoi belagak siammm
